Hotel Prince De Galles, Douala

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms, though smallish, served their purpose, and the generators quickly kicked in during power outages, keeping everything running smoothly. However, cleanliness was lacking, and the absence of a coffee/tea maker was a letdown.

Staying in a dank and odorous basement room close to the Boulevard de la Liberte, I found the smallish rooms suitable for the purpose. The generators kicked right on during each Douala power outage, ensuring the ACs, lights, and elevators functioned fine. The living room, bedroom, and bathroom were spacious, equipped with a sofa, TV, and office table.

However, the cleanliness was lacking in some areas, and certain staff members were really rude, which was disappointing.
